Brownie Batter Hummus

Chocolate dip with banana chips, fresh strawberries, and animal cookies

Who doesn’t love licking brownie batter right off of the spoon? This dip is very reminiscent of that. The best part of this recipe is that you likely already have all of the ingredients on hand. You are just 5 minutes away from a sweet and satisfying snack.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

  • 1/3 cup peanut butter (use any nut spread that you like)

  • 1/2 cup almond milk (use any milk or milk alternative that you like)

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Add more milk if you prefer a thinner, smoother consistency.

  2. Top with mini chocolate chips, if desired, and serve. Eat with a spoon, or use as a dip for pretzels, fresh fruit, animal cookies, dried banana chips, or as a topping for toast or waffles.
